Founder, CEO, Coach
Andrea has been building businesses and teaching entrepreneurs her whole career. She has faced serious health and personal challenges on her entrepreneurial path, and is now driven to help others overcome their own. Prior to co-founding Awesome, she was President of ServiceRocket, where she helped rebuild an international team to build a culture that led to a doubling of revenue. Previously, she co-founded Startech Global, an international, full service software development firm. She ultimately sold and exited.
In her work with UCLA Anderson’s Management Development for Entrepreneurs Program, she taught and assisted hundreds of business owners with strategic growth planning each year. Andrea was previously the Global Committee Chair of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Accelerator Program, as well as a volunteer for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and board member for Project Echo.
She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs learn, grow and scale their companies while being Awesome humans. Born into a family of teachers, Andrea brings a wealth of experience and love for learning to the Awesome Institute. She received her MBA in entrepreneurial studies from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and her BA from UC Santa Barbara. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Mark, daughter Lucy, step-daughter Paige, and cat Lola.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Scott has owned many companies over the past 20 years, from Silicon Valley to lower-tech and real estate. He currently has three companies: Quick Space, Compelling Investments, and Awesome Institute. Past companies include the fields of airport services, IT development and consulting, video game development, and others, in companies that range in size from a handful of employees to more than 1,000. Scott has learned how to run his businesses in ways that have allowed him to live his values, his purpose and to achieve many of his personal and professional life goals. Through his teaching and coaching, Scott guides others on their own personal journeys on the road to Awesome.
Scott regularly presents, facilitates, and leads entrepreneurial groups of all sizes in a variety of strategic planning and leadership learning topics around the world. He believes that entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful forces for good on the planet. He has held many volunteer positions as a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, including being a member of its Global Board, and is one of its highest-rated facilitators.
He holds a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Scott lives in Arizona with his wife, Olga and their dogs, Roxy and Nemo. He loves to travel, values freedom, and really likes tacos.
For over 20 years Winn devoted her energy to a career in sales, marketing and account management at places as diverse as a Fortune 500 company, a financial services start-up, and the world’s largest CRM/direct marketing agency. Along the way she earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota and enjoyed stints in Miami, Minneapolis, Chicago and Southern California.
Having worked in a variety of settings, Winn saw first-hand the challenges of balancing work and life. This, along with her own transformative experiences being coached, inspired her passion to become one herself. Winn trained at New Ventures West and is a Certified Integral Coach. She’s committed to helping her clients define success on their own terms and thrive personally and professionally.
Winn lives with her fiancé in Paso Robles in California’s Central Coast. When not working she spends time traveling, wine tasting and searching for the perfect restaurant.
Jenny has been guiding change and transformation for leaders and organizations for the last 14+ years. As an Executive Coach, she supports leaders in cultivating greater self-awareness, skillfully navigating dynamic relationships and environments, and learning how to take conscious and courageous action. Her passion is coaching driven, visionary leaders who want to have greater influence and impact, expand their reach, and make their greatest contribution. In addition to coaching, she has led initiatives and teams to support a multitude of Fortune 500 organizations through change initiatives aimed at creating cultures of leadership, learning, innovation, agility, and collaboration.
Jenny has been invited to speak at universities, including the Hult International School of Business and Sonoma State, and for organizations such as Future Women Leaders of San Francisco on topics including change and transformation, women in leadership, and creating cultures of purpose. She has contributed articles to Forbes.com, and for Imperative, a startup focused on creating purpose driven organizations and leaders.
She holds a BA in Business Administration, a Masters degree in Organizational Development, and is a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, and a member of the Forbes Coaches Council. She lives in San Francisco with her partner David, children Ayla and Emory, dog Piper, and fish Sushi.
Martha combines the experience of a successful senior leader with the partnership of a coach. She is focused on developing leaders and building their capacities as they manage themselves and create high performance teams and results.
Martha’s leadership experience comes from managing large teams and functions in a range of environments. She has worked in startups and most recently a large Fortune 50 company. She has worked and coached in a number of industries including technology, investments, retail, travel, cloud-computing, health care, biopharmaceutical, legal and non-profit. She has managed through mergers and acquisitions, selling off businesses, through fast paced hiring as well as layoffs. She’s a seasoned professional who has weathered many storms.
Martha’s clients often report that they’re more effective in their roles and in their careers, and that they’re able to reconnect with what brings them meaning and inspires them in life. Outcomes include staying centered while facing challenges, more skillfully managing change and bringing about desired outcomes, and creating teams that are highly leaderful and effective. Being cognizant of how choices as a leader affect cultural values and norms, and hence behaviors, is a topic of interest with many of her clients.
Martha brings to her coaching engagements a seriousness of purpose along with a sense of humor, compassion, deep listening, and an ability to see to the heart of complex issues in a way that brings helpful insight.
Martha is an ICF certified coach, received her MBA from Simmons University in Boston, has served on several non-profit boards, and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband.
Danielle’s 16+ years of experience with people of all ages has allowed her to develop superior personal skills in maintaining client relationships by providing customized solutions and extraordinary experiences for them. As Project Coordinator, she is the liaison for logistics, daily operations, and collaborates with colleagues to maintain Awesome organization.
Danielle received her Bachelor of General Studies in Arts and Humanities, accompanied with a Business minor from Indiana University. Her professional background consists of social work, leadership mentoring, financial services for personal and small business banking, program and event management, coaching, and entrepreneurship.
In her spare time Danielle enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family, friends, and animals, being in nature, cooking, painting, exercising, and assisting others in their own personal and professional development.
